Dave and I are having a baby and we couldn't be anymore excited!! We found out the good news about 2 weeks ago. I took a pregnancy test and to my amazement it was positive. When Dave gets home from work he wonders if everything is ok, because my heart was racing. He says "Did I knock you up?" I said go to the bedroom, where I had a card and some baby booties for him. So he figured it out right away. I can never keep anything from him. We kept the secret for a whole week, which was very tough. We had our parents over for dinner and when Dave prayed he said, "Lord please bless the 7 of us in the room." The mom's caught on right away, but the dad's took a little while. They were are are thrilled! I am tentatively due July 2, so a summer baby.
The picture of us here is us enjoying one of our favorite past times, Nascar Racing. We went to the Chicago race for our first anniversary. Dave is a huge Kevin Harvick fan and I am huge Carl Edwards fan.

Contrats you two! What an exciting time.
Yeah! You have a blog! Congrats on the pregnancy...such an exciting time! I am no expert on parenting but I certainly have had enough dealings with the icky time that is the first trimester so I know your pain. Hang in there!
