Been a Rough Road
Well it all started on Thursday when I started to not feel very well. I stayed home from work and rested most of the day. Then on Friday I attempted to go to work but had horrible pains in my lower abdomen area. I saw my doctor and he diagnosed me with having gastritis, which is basically a viral flu in the intestines. The pain was awful, but I went home and slept. The next morning, Saturday, the pain was worse to the point that I was crying. Dave basically had to force me out the door to go to the hospital. We got to the hospital and they admitted me right away and gave me some drugs to cut the pain. They ended up keeping me overnight so I could get some fluids in me. They were also concerned that I may have had something wrong with my appendix, but I didn't. They discharged me late Sunday morning with a perscription of vicodin, which was a life saver for me! I went home still with discomfort, but nowhere near what I was feeling on Saturday. I stayed home from work on Monday, because I still was having pain and just did not feel well at all. My doctor at the hospital told me that I should be feeling better on Monday, but I wasn't so I made a call to my doctor and they changed our ultrasound appointment from Friday to Tuesday. The doctor wanted to make sure that my ovaries were not twisted.
