Last Sunday was the BIG day and boy did I ever feel special and loved. My mom, 2 sister-in-laws, and mother-in-law, really put on a Great Baby shower. The room was packed and there was plenty of good food and wonderful cake to go around (thanks to my friend Terry, who made the cake). Thank you to everyone that was there. Thank you also for all of the wonderful gifts. The little guy will be dressed to impress and will have all of the newest gadgets. And the prayers must have worked, because we had beautiful day as well. I can't wait for the little guy to come and play with all of his new toys and wear all of his new "handsome" clothes. The corsage that I am wearing is from my mom's baby shower when she was pregnant with me. My mom has kept it these past 29 years so that I could wear it the day that I had my first baby shower.

On Wednesday, to my surprisement, my co-workers gave me a baby shower at work. That was also a very special treat. I walked into a staff meeting late and everyone starts clapping. I just thought that they were all clapping because I was late, but to my surpsrisement it was because they were excited that I was finally there, as I was their honorary guest.

The baby shower was fun. I'm so glad you like the blanket I made. It's the 1st thing I ever fully crocheted.... and finished :) I'm glad I was able to get it done in time for the shower. And thanks so much for putting a picture of it on your blog! :)
haha.... but when did 'surprisement' become a word?? It would still be grammatically correct to say 'to my surprise...'

You're in the home stretch, Angie! The last couple weeks are terrible but when you see that little boy it'll be a distant memory. Hang in there and make Dave rub your feet and back as much as possible! Wishing you an easy, quick labor!
