Doctor Appointment
I had my first bad doctor appointment last week Thursday. I have a little bit of protein in my urine, swollen ankles and feet, and a slightly high blood pressure. With the combination of the three, my doctor has me resting as much as possible. He said, "if you don't have to do it, don't do it." Well let me tell you, when you are busy-body like I am, you don't really want to hear those words, but I know that it is best for the baby and me that I follow them. Dave has been such a great sport. He has been doing all of the housework. He won't even let me fold the laundry or get the mail. The doctor thought about having me cut down my hours at work, but then I made him aware that I only have 8 days left, so he said that I should be ok with working full days till the end. I have another appointment next week so the doctor can check over everything. Please pray that everything goes back to normal and does not get worse. I do not want to be on bed rest or get preclampsia (spelt wrong I am sure). The good news is that the baby is growing and doing great!!!

Take is easy, Mama! We'll be praying for a safe, healthy delivery soon! Just appreciate Dave's help now, soon it'll be all you again! I gave Pat a "to-do" list. We got quite a bit done pre-baby. That nesting instinct is strong, isn't it? Well, you be careful and keep us posted on the appointments.
